Thank God For PR People

"That's a lot of ketchup."

The ketchup packet will soon journey to Heinz HQ in Pittsburgh, where it will be elected mayor.

When a movie calls itself shitty

020106stranger.jpg When a movie that comes out that looks like it's going to be really, really bad and there are no reviews of it in Friday's papers, you know that the movie is actually really, really bad. That's because the studio didn't even have a screening for the film. And to know how bad a film has to be to not get a screening, consider this: Son of the Mask had several screenings.

Anyway, the forthcoming movie When A Stranger Calls does have a screening, but it's on Thursday night -- too late for a reviewer to make any deadlines for reviews. As for online publications, well the Philly PR firm just sent out this email:

Please note, no online press members will be admitted into our advanced screening of WHEN A STRANGER CALLS on Thursday evening.

It's official: When A Stranger Calls is the worst movie of the year.
