Four Cops Fired; Hilarity To Ensue
Four police officers were fired and four others disciplined today for beating up some suspects on camera a little bit ago.
What does this mean? Well, it means a lot, I suppose, but it means this thread on Domelights is going to be hilarious. If you're interested in seeing people defend (what appears to be) police brutality -- I mean, besides Christine Flowers -- then please click through and read on.

I believe many people -- okay, many white people -- are firmly in favor of police being allowed to beat up suspects. I found a few surveys that seem to say otherwise, so I think I need to change my opinion, but, man, it just seems so logical.
What's also funny is the cops might have a case for wrongful termination (except for the rookies, I think), depending on what the union contract says -- four of 'em were fired fairly quickly, the FOP will fight their firing, etc.

Give them awards not pink slips. These cops are out of a job, lives ruined and the criminals will become millionaires. Whats wrong with this picture?

Oh, and how right you are so far.
I honestly can't believe these cops think this was such a huge defeat for them...and now they are just going to hide out and not do their job for fear of retribution.
Those posters should be the next to go...
