Leftovers: Congress To Fix All Sports

• It wasn't just the Roger Clemens Circus of Fun today in Congress. (Highlight: Clemens said he didn't know what a vegan was.) Arlen Specter was slated to meet with NFL commish Roger Goodell, too! Will no Congressman stand up to the travesty that is traveling calls in the NBA? [Deadspin; AP/Philly.com]

• Thanks to hiring Kumar (from Harold & Kumar), the Penn Asian-American Studies department is having a bit of a boom in interest. Nice. Makes you want to eat a whole package of Teddy Grahams. [Daily Pennsylvanian]

• A Buxco woman called 911 after her bed burst into flames didn't have her call answered until six rings and was put on hold. (She died.) A report calls this "poorly" handled. Gee, you think? [CBS 3]
