Green Party Candidate Wants You To Waste Energy

Brett Mandel and Philadelphia Forward released the "R.E.F.O.R.M. Ballot" today, and the results are pretty confusing, if you look at it a certain way. Dwight Evans hates SEPTA! Jesus White wants to hire his relatives! Fattah likes PGW just the way it is!

But most telling is this question, which I've excerpted below.

Yes, you read that correctly. The only candidate for mayor who does not want to encourage homeowners to use energy efficiently is Kerry Foster of the Green Party.

Actually, Kerry Foster doesn't have the Green Party Nomination. At a recent meeting for the Green Part of Philadelphia (GPOP) that took place April 23rd, they voted on if he should get their official nomination. He received a majority of the votes, but not the 2/3rds required to become the official candidate. So that means the Green Party does not have an official nominee, and Kerry was voted down.

So, in other words, the headline of this article is a lie. I wonder if "Philadelphia Will Do" could be sued for libel over this.
