Ryan Howard Inspires Crotch-Protecting Stances
Over the weekend, Ryan Howard hit approximately 714 home runs, including a three-run homer game on Saturday. (The Phillies, naturally, needed a ninth-inning rally to win that one.) He hit another one yesterday, a near upper deck shot that gave the Phils a 2-1 lead. (They, naturally, needed extra innings to win that one.)
Here's an Inquirer photo of the fans trying to catch Howard's homer yesterday by Inquirer photog Jerry Lodriguss (thanks, Enrico):

I don't know who's better: The guy protecting his crotch instead of going for the ball, or the guy in the green who looks like he's ready to dive over the stands in order to catch it. Either way, it's a great slideshow, and you should check it out.

I like the guy in green better. I am impressed that he coordinated his hat to his shirt.
