Goodbye, Ricky: Mariano Gets 6½ Years

Our favorite ex-City Councilman, Rick Mariano, was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison.
Mariano was convicted in March of taking $28,000 in bribes in exchange for help securing city business. Since leaving City Council, Mariano had returned to his old job as an electrician.
The prosecution had asked for 8 to 10 years in prison. So, hey, another win for Ricky.
