Quick! With just one simple form field in your browser, you can end poverty!

After the jump, we humbly submit an way to end povery. (Er, to "make poverty history," as Bono would say.)

Okay, it's not technically our idea. (Naturally.) It actually came from the letters page of last week's South Philly Review:

As I was watching "The Price is Right," I found myself wondering, "Why not make the audience all homeless people?" I mean, America has so much to give away, right? Make all the prizes new homes complete with paid mortgages and furnishings and assign the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" team to Project New Orleans. Why not round up a group of homeless people and send them to "Survivor" or "Big Brother"?

The ball's in your court, Bono.

Didn't Howard Stern already do this on his local New York tv show in the early 90s?

I believe that was "Homeless Hollywood Squares."

Dear Bono,

Why don't we just put the homeless in prison?

We should bring back American Gladiators, but the contestants would all be homeless. The winners would get warm food and clean clothing, while the losers would be beaten to death. NITRO!
