'Good Day' Dancing Just Keeps On Going

Last week: The Phillie Phanatic. (Happy birthday, big buddy!) And today: The Robbins Diamonds guy.

This one actually includes some actual, uh, pretty good dancing. The Robbins guy can really shake his money maker, and Jen Fred busts a movie today as well. Even the security director seems more into it today.

Also, this sketch (skit? news segment? hard-hitting investigative report?) seems to keep getting longer and longer. Pretty soon it's going to take up about a full hour. I don't think I could be prouder.

Um, did she say "Hi, loverpants?" And the clip-on was a comedic bonus...

Plus, isn't this just straight-up advertising? If my firm had a mascot with an oversized lawyer-head, could we get a 4-minute ad on morning TV?

Oh, yes, she did say "loverpants." I meant to note that.

As for advertising, I guess any mascot dancing is going to be advertising, since mascots aren't just conjured up out of nowhere -- they shill for something. If your firm had a mascot, I'm sure it'd be able to dance around on GDP. Maybe he can have a legal brief in his beard or something.

Yeah, I can accept advertising for the Phillies and other such beloved sports franchises (like the Philadelphia Stars), but a random jewelry store?

Not to mention that the mascot is a real person- who works about 3 blocks away.
And still no Northeast Times...... ;-)
