Bucks County Girls Do What Bush Can’t

There’s been some weird crimes in Bucks County: The guy who punched out Cookie Monster, the guy who squeezed all the bread in Yardley, the woman who tried to poison her husband in his mashed potatoes, etc. And Hitler even tried to attack the place.

But this might top them all:

Three teen girls are facing charges they threatened to use weapons of mass destruction after scrawling bomb threats on walls inside Robert K. Shafer Middle School.

Bensalem police said a bomb threat was found on a stairwell wall of the school about 12:47 p.m. Tuesday. [...]

Police said all three were released to their parents and charges are pending in juvenile court for threatening to use weapons of mass destruction, terroristic threats, criminal conspiracy and institutional vandalism.

Okay, you know, people obviously shouldn’t be making bomb threats, but I think it’s safe to say that these girls didn’t have any freakin’ WMDs. Right? Right??

The girls that did it wanted to get out of their 8th period class. Thats why the second bomb threat happened, because we had a 50 question test that was insanely easy but the girls thought it was going to be hard.. which either way with there stupidity they would have probally failed. The first bomb threat was done by another girl that I havent heard much about I know that it wasnt acted on and that the school knew about it and just ignored the first one and then the 3rd one was done in a stairwell and the girl was just stupid.. but i know that the second one was to get out of the test and the third one was to out do Snyder. I know all 4 of the girls that made the threats and they have a history of problems in school and home, they were pretty much all liars to, but none of the newspapers seemed to cover anything but a stupid bomb threat or that fact that the school ignored the one that happened 2 weeks before that one..

I remember the bomb threat. It started out like a fire drill but then they shut down the school and made us all go home. It was pretty stupid, because if three 14 year olds aren’t smart enough to get the right answers for a test, how could they get their hands on a WMD? The police in Bensalem have always been overzealous anyway.

One of the girls that got expelled for the crime seed to be a normal; seemingly happy girl: so I’m pretty sure it was just childish play as a way to either get out of school or just play a prank. So charging them with planning on using WMD’s is kinda outrageous: but nevertheless they did have to pay for their actions.

I’d also like to ad that these and other bomb threats made at the schools were copycat crimes of a bomb threat written in a girls’ room mirror at the Bucks County Tech. School. I also believe that when the girls got caught (after making a second threat), it was their fault: for they started to think they could get away with the crime.
